The captain of the vessel was arrested on August 20th when sailing into the Port of Seattle (IMN August 26th). He appeared in the King County District Court on August 25th and a judge determined there was probable cause to charge the Master with the gross misdemeanour.
According to court records the investigators had to speak to Captain Danylin before he responded. The Master was reported to have denied drinking alcohol but said he had drunk mouthwash 10 minutes earlier.
