Vessel suffered fire in engine room, which spread to superstructure, in Gulf of Riga, Baltic sea, Latvia, en route from Klaipeda to Riga. Crew went into lifeboat and were later rescued by nearby cargo ship KAIRIT, and disembarked at Riga. The ship started drifting and 2 tugs and an SAR ship are by her side.

2022-03-14Collision

Vessel struck the stern of berthed container ship HANNI at Gdansk DCT Container Terminal, while unmooring. The ship reportedly, went under way too early as she was about set sail for Kaliningrad, Russia. Both ships remained in the same position. Damages sustained by both ships are said not to be serious.

2021-04-07Mechanical Fault

ESCAPE, experienced a steering gear failure whilst navigating in a position off Vlieland Island, Netherlands on 7 April 2021.

* The vessel was later taken under tow by tug towards Rotterdam for inspection and repairs. It has been confirmed that salvage services are being rendered to the vessel by professional salvors on Lloyd's Open Form terms.
