On the evening of July 14, 2026, a leak of hydrogen fluoride (hydrofluoric acid) occurred aboard the container ship MSC Mia Summer II while it was berthed and undergoing unloading operations at the Deurganck Dock in the Waasland Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Belgium.
