Ship-Tracker.org organizes cruise ship information around structured vessel records. Where available, the IMO number is used as the primary permanent vessel identifier, while MMSI and call sign information provide additional maritime identification.
Cruise ships may change names, operators, flags or radio identifiers during their service life. Historical and renamed vessels are therefore treated separately from current fleet records whenever appropriate.
What Can You Find in the Cruise Directory?
Available information depends on the individual vessel record and its current public page.
Damar adı
Open the correct public vessel page for available ship particulars and tracking information.
IMO Numarası
IMO numarası, mevcut olduğu her yerde birincil kalıcı gemi tanımlayıcısı olarak kullanılır.
MMSI
The Maritime Mobile Service Identity is used by maritime radio and AIS systems and may change during a ship’s lifetime.
Seyir Hattı
Ships are grouped by cruise line or operator to make related vessels easier to discover.
How Cruise Ship Tracking Works
Public cruise ship tracking commonly relies on AIS, the Automatic Identification System. AIS can transmit vessel identity, position, course and speed when a ship is transmitting and the signal is received by a terrestrial or satellite network.
Position availability varies by location, reception coverage and the data source used on the individual vessel page. A displayed position may therefore represent the last publicly received location rather than the ship’s exact current position.
IMO Numbers, MMSI and Vessel Names
Different maritime identifiers serve different purposes when identifying and tracking cruise ships.
Browse Cruise Lines and Related Ships
Large cruise companies may operate many vessels across different regions and markets. The cruise directory groups available ships by operator and links each current vessel record to the appropriate Ship-Tracker.org page.
Existing published vessel pages are preserved and used in preference to automatically generated records. Historical or renamed ships can be shown separately so that former identities are not confused with current fleet information.
Cruise Ships FAQ
How can I find a specific cruise ship?
Use the vessel search to look for a cruise ship by vessel name, IMO number, MMSI or call sign.
Can I browse cruise ships by cruise line?
Yes. The cruise directory groups available vessels by cruise line or operator and links to the correct public vessel pages.
Can cruise ships change their names?
Yes. Cruise ships may be renamed or transferred between operators during their service life. Historical names and former fleet assignments may therefore be shown separately from current records.
Are cruise ship positions always live?
No. Position freshness depends on AIS transmissions, reception coverage and the available tracking source. Some positions may represent the last publicly received location rather than the ship’s exact current position.
