A position shown on Ship-Tracker.org or through an embedded third-party service should therefore not automatically be interpreted as the vessel&#8217;s exact current location.<\/p>\n<p>Ships may stop transmitting AIS, operate outside available reception coverage or have their public position data delayed or restricted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"std-home-section std-home-soft\">\n<div class=\"std-home-section-head\">\n<span class=\"std-home-eyebrow\">Maritime Data<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Vessel Information and Identifiers<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"std-home-text\">\n<p>Ship-Tracker.org may display vessel names, IMO numbers, MMSI numbers, call signs, vessel types, flags, ownership information, technical particulars and other maritime data.<\/p>\n<p>Where available, the IMO number is used as the primary permanent vessel identifier.
